Spring storms have created some spectacular alpine conditions. New cornice formations have made the high ridges a spectacular playground.
These are a few shots from the west ridge of Mt. Arkansas (13,800ft) at the end of May. Both of these were taken just a few days before warm temperatures made accessing the ridge quite dangerous due to waiting wet slab issue.
