Is one of the most beautiful of the cascades volcanoes. Battling with Rainier for the worlds snowiest place, its glaciers are the only place in the continental United States that descend below tree-line.

North Ridge Route
One of the most classic alpine climbs in the country.
This beautiful ridge climbs off the glacier onto patches of steep snow and short sections of rock. After several hundred feet we come to the renowned ice cliff that typically requires one or two pitches of moderate technical ice climbing. Next the routes takes a stunningly clean snow arete up to the mazelike seracs of the summit glacier. There is definetly a reason this route is so popular.

Coleman-Deming and Easton Glacier Routes
Less techincal options to exlpore Mt. Baker.
There routes follow the same itinerary as the north ridge but do not have any technical ice pitches. Suit up for climbing at its finest.
These programs are spectacular ways to get started with glacial mountaineering as you will encounter glaciers as large as on Mt. Rainier but will not have to deal with such hostile weather and objective danger you find 3000-ft higher.
