5 Day Expedition Skills and Mountaineering Seminar

Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainer | $1199-$1599
This will be a five day long mountaineering and glacier travel based seminar with summit attempt.  This program is meant to ready you to be an effective team member in a glaciated climbing expedition.  Glacier safety, climbing skills, crevasse rescue as well as expedition and camp craft will be the focus.

Price depends on number of climbers. Check out the seasons programs listing for dates or get in touch about scheduling a program.

Does going up on the glacier and lowering someone 20 feet into a bottomless crevasse and having some fun climbing ice on the way back out sound routine?  If it doesn’t are you really ready to be up on the glacier in less ideal conditions when you might actually fall in one?  This program is based around advanced glacier navigation and rescue skills that will empower you to make the most of your time on large glaciers.  In addition to a summit attempt our goal is to get to know the glacier more intimately.  Starting with how to even find good cracks to practice with.
