Chargeable sun softened pow on the South East Face of Uneva.  Probably the one runnable line from the summit.  Dropped at about 12:00 by my estimate.

Snow was in good condition considering the south eastern exposure.  The slope seemed to be free of any persistent issues.  On the more southerly aspects coverage was even an issue.

The majority of snow in the line was dropped all in one storm/wind event.  The concern was any rotten snow lingering underneath.  I was belayed into an area of heavy loading and more limited sun exposure wasn’t able to find any signs of widespread issues.  Two days of warm ambient temperatures and sun helped consolidated the new snow nicely.

My assessment was the exposure to sun and large amount of exposed rock made for easy heat transfer into any old snow removing any persistent issues and consolidating the new.
