The Monashee mountain range, just out side of Revelstoke boasts some impressive wilderness.  Guarded by miles of dense rain forests and huge elevation gain, it is virtually inaccessible without a flight.  

We fly in from Revelstoke into a near tree line camp with easy access to high alpine glacier runs and the legendary Canadian pillows.

These provide an excellent opportunity to learn about expedition skills and glaciated environments.  It also is world renowned for powder skiing.

This trip we lucked out.  Flying in a day after avalanche danger was rated level 4 things quickly settled down and we got some nice refreshes of cold snow down to camp. 

What a treat to be powered skiing back to the tents for a warm lunch before heading back out to ski in the evening.
